About Tom Ash Agency
The Tom Ash Agency was started by Mr. Tom Ash himself in the 1970’s. Those were the days when insurance was still sold door to door. He operated out of his home as he built his book of business.
In 1975, the opportunity arose to purchase the old Riegel Drug Store on Main St. in Owego. Located in the heart of Owego, 185 Main St., has been home to the agency ever since.
Being an Owego resident all of his life, Mr. Ash was very committed to his community. He volunteered much of his time to coaching, both baseball and basketball. Everyone knows Mr. Ash, either through coaching or visiting with him while on his walks through the village, smoking his cigar. He treated everyone as a friend and brought this attitude into the office with him. This is why the Tom Ash Agency believes in such a high standard of customer service.
In 2015, Mr. Ash retired, passing his cigar to Jennifer Wilson. Jennifer worked closely with Tom for 11 years before taking over the reins. Jennifer shares Tom’s community pride and looks forward to meeting your insurance coverage needs.
